Deleting a selected file

/BACK

Enter stop mode

Press [7 /BACK].

Enter list mode

Press [LIST].

Select the file to be deleted

Press [5]/[∞] to select an item and press [£/8] to enter. Repeat

these operations until the desired music file is displayed.

Press [5]/[∞] to move the cursor on the file to be deleted.

✎ If the music starts to play, press [7/BACK] to stop it.

Enter File edit mode

Press [EDIT].

Delete the selected file

Press [5]/[∞] to select “File delete” and press [£/8].

When the confirmation message is displayed, press [5]/[∞] to select

“Yes” and press [£/8].

■ Press [7/BACK] to return to the previous screen page.

• If <DB Auto update> is set to <Manual update>, the file does not disappear from

the list even after it has been deleted. In this case, update the DB. (page 60)
